As part of an initiative to improve student learning in Queensland state schools, School Reviews are conducted in every Queensland State School to provide feedback on how the school is performing and to inform school planning processes. The Reviews are carried out every four years or following the appointment of a new school principal.
The most recent review conducted at Surat State School was in 2021.
